MICROBIOMES4SOY Aligns with World Microbiome Partnership

On June 20, 2025, the World Microbiome Partnership (WMP) was officially launched at the Académie Nationale de Médecine in Paris, under the patronage of President Emmanuel Macron.

The event marked a strategic opportunity to integrate microbiome research into agri-food systems. The WMP aims to embed microbiome science into public health, agriculture, and environmental strategies globally.

Discussions in the Working Group on Agrifood Systems, where our coordinator Angela Sessitsch from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology gave a presentation, laid the groundwork for future collaboration and policy alignment.
