Plant Republic

Plant Republic, part of the New Originals Company, was founded in early 2020 by Matthias Krön to supply tofu and plant-based meat alternatives to European retailers, industry and branded customers.

Plant Republic symbolizes our vision of a world in which healthy, enjoyable food is a non-brainer and responsibility for people, animals and nature goes without saying. We deal with all relevant categories in the field of plant-based protein nutrition, with a focus on organic and certified European raw materials and traceable origin as well as clean label and offer over 20 years of experience in this industry for an optimal supply of European food retailers and other key customers.

For the MICROBIOMES4SOY project we developed and produced the tofu. Tofu is the most efficient vegan meat substituted with one of the lowest carbon emissions per unit of any protein source and one of the highest levels of protein digestibility and amino acids of any protein source.
